The preparation of the Lebanese men’s national basketball team continues for two important matches against Jordan and Saudi Arabia as part of the “third window” of the third Asian group qualification for the World Cup final, which will be held from August 25 to September 10. The meeting between Lebanon and Jordan will be the third between them this year, since the two teams met last February at the Arab Championships held in Dubai (United Arab Emirates) and Lebanon won on its way (64-52), which was crowned with success, winning the Arab title for the first time in its history. The two teams met in the Jordanian capital Amman in the “second window” of the World Cup qualifiers. Jordan won (74-63) thanks to an entirely different team from the one that competed in the Arab Championship, which is Lebanon’s only defeat (54th in the world and 9th in the continental world) in the qualifiers.

Jordan (39th in the world and 8th in the continental world) and Lebanon share the lead in Group C by 7 points, with Jordan leading on points difference, while Saudi Arabia (80th in the world and 13th in the continental world) is in third place ( 6 points). and Indonesia is fourth (4 points).
