The Israeli Knesset has set October 1 as the date for parliamentary elections.

Yesterday, on Wednesday, the Israeli media confirmed that the Knesset approved the decision to dissolve it in the first reading yesterday at noon by a majority of 74 deputies against an opposition of 5 deputies. She pointed out that “the proposal is submitted to the Knesset committee for the second and third reading, and the date of the elections will be determined between October 25, as the opposition wants, and November 1, as the coalition wants.” A year after the formation of the Israeli government coalition led by Bennett and Lapid, the coalition fell apart due to the departure of more than one member.

On June 22, the Israeli media announced that the Israeli Knesset voted in a preliminary reading to self-dissolve with the unanimity of 110 deputies present at the vote, in its interests in the possibility of creating an alternative government under the current Knesset.
