Gorlovka is under the control of the authorities of the Donetsk People’s Republic and is located 50 km north of the city of Donetsk. The most bombed areas of Gorlovka are the village of Zaitsevo and the mining settlements named after Gagarin and “6/7”, located on the outskirts of the city.
