Elon Musk has sparked controversy again after new court documents revealed that the American billionaire fathered two children in 2021 with Sivan Zelis, a senior executive at artificial intelligence company Neuralink.
The world’s richest man fathered nine famous children, including five with his first wife, Justin Musk, and two with singer Claire Butcher, professionally known as Grimes.
Court documents obtained by Business Insider and published on Wednesday, July 6, show that Elon Musk and Siobhan Zelis have requested to name their twins “their father’s last name and include their mother’s last name in their middle name.” to change
The petition was filed in Texas, where the children were born, and the judge approved it. According to the report, Shivonne Zelis gave birth to twins in November 2021, a few weeks before Musk and Claire Butcher gave birth to their second child via a surrogate.
The 36-year-old was born in Canada and studied economics and philosophy at Yale University before working for IBM and later Bloomberg Beta, a venture capital fund. Siobhan is a rising star in the AI world and has been named to Forbes’ “30 Under 30” list and LinkedIn’s “35 Under 35” list.
According to her LinkedIn profile, Siobhan is the director of operations and special projects at Neuralink, Musk’s neurotech company, which seeks to create human-machine interfaces. I started working in this company in May 2017.
Musk recently agreed to buy Twitter for $44 billion, a deal he stalled over concerns about bots on the platform. According to Business Insider, Shivonne Zelis has been “nominated” to run the social networking platform if the deal goes through.
