Russian strikes have killed between 100 and 150 civilians in recent weeks, the US estimates.
Russian military strikes in Ukraine over the past two weeks have claimed between 100 and 150 civilian casualties, according to Pentagon figures.
On Friday, in a briefing reported by The Guardian, a senior member of the US military disclosed that sum, saying it was “too early” to determine whether the war had reached a stalemate.
“I think what we are seeing is low morale [dos russos] with willpower [dos ucranianos]”, summarized.

Borrell urges Russia to assume its responsibility and cooperate in the case of MH17
The High Representative for Foreign Policy of the European Union today called on Russia to “accept its responsibility and cooperate” in the case of the downing of the MH17 plane, which killed 298 people, eight years ago.
Josep Borrell said that the war that Russia unleashed “is a painful memory” of what happened on July 17, 2014, when the Malaysia Airlines plane that was going from Amsterdam to Kuala Lumpur crashed after being hit by a missile, while flying over the eastern Ukraine during the conflict that culminated in the annexation of Crimea.
On the eve of the anniversary, the head of European diplomacy reiterated the “full support” of the European Union for the efforts that are being made to “uncover the truth and achieve justice” for the victims and their families, and demand responsibility from the responsible.
A court in the Netherlands is currently prosecuting four suspects, three Russians and one Ukrainian, all in absentia, for their alleged responsibility in the downing of the plane, with a verdict expected later this year.
The Dutch prosecutor finds them guilty and has asked for life sentences for all four.

Rusozz. Irina Shayk, accused of pro-Putin, responds to criticism: “Sometimes a salad is just a salad”
The problem was the use of z. On Thursday, supermodel Irina Shayk, one of Cristiano Ronaldo’s former girlfriends, made a post on Instagram that led netizens to accuse her of being pro-Putin. On InstaStories she posted an image of a typical Russian salad, with the caption “russianzz”. The use of the Z, which became a symbol of the Russian invasion of Ukraine, was immediately criticized.
This Friday, the Russian model explained: “Sometimes a salad is just a salad. I promise, there are no scrambled messages or political comments here. I wish you all the love.”

Zelensky: “Russian society, with so many murderers and executioners, will be mutilated for generations”
The difference between the two peoples is clear. The Ukrainians maintain their dignity, the Russians play the role of executioners. This is one of the most recent theses defended by Volodymyr Zelensky and published by the Ukrainian president on his official Facebook page.
“We will definitely rebuild everything that was destroyed by the occupants. Each of the more than two thousand educational institutions: each kindergarten, each school, institute, university. And most importantly: we will preserve our humanity and our civic spirit. Russian society, with so many murderers and executioners, will be maimed for generations through its own fault.”

War leaves Russian McDonald’s without fries on menu
Western sanctions have had various effects on Russia’s economy and this is just one of them. Due to the bad harvest of the year, and the difficulty of importing products, the Russian McDonald’s will temporarily run out of French fries on the menu.
Vkusno e Tochka (Portuguese for “Delicious, full stop”), which took over the chain’s restaurants after McDonald’s left Russia, expects its customers to run out of fries during the summer months. They should be back on the menus in the fall, after the next harvest.

US Russian Officials Reportedly Visited Iran to Study Attack Drones
The information was provided by Jake Sullivan, US National Security Advisor. A Russian delegation will have traveled to Iran for a presentation of a strike-capable UAV (unmanned aerial vehicle). The information is still being evaluated by the United States.
However, Jake Sullivan believes that Iran prepares to become a supplier to Russia of drones capable of attacking, hence this encounter on an airfield. In addition to being ready to deliver hundreds of unmanned aerial vehicles, Tehran will also be on hand to train the Russian military.
“As far as we know, it is the first time that a Russian delegation has visited this airfield for a demonstration of this type,” the minister argued.

The Russian military will use the Zaporizhia plant to store weapons, in addition to using the site to fire missiles at neighboring regions, an official with Ukraine’s nuclear agency Energoatom said. The news is advanced by Agence France-Presse.
Although it has been under Russian control practically since the beginning of the invasion, the plant is still operated by Ukrainians.
“The occupants bring their machines, including missile systems, which they use to bombard the other side of the Dnieper River and the Nikopol territory,” said Peter Kotin.
