The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights reported that “six members were killed, including 3 Syrian citizens and 3 non-Syrian nationals, in addition to the injuries of 10 other members, according to a preliminary loss of life count, as a result of Israeli strikes on the countryside of the capital Damascus after midnight from Thursday to Friday July 22, while rescue teams are still searching for the missing at their designated locations.

He stated that “Israeli missiles hit the Air Force intelligence offices, the office of a high-ranking officer and a car near the Mezze military airport, and the missiles fell near a protective barrier in the immediate vicinity of the military airport, the Mezze highway and an arms depot for Iranians in the Sayed Zainab area.” which led to its complete destruction.

A military source told the Syrian Arab News Agency – SANA that “three soldiers were killed, seven were wounded and property was damaged as a result of Israeli aggression directed against some points in the vicinity of the city of Damascus.”
