China’s CGTN report states that “China and Iran are taking important steps towards a more peaceful region because the fragile global situation continues to be affected by hegemony and unipolar agendas.”
The network noted that “Chinese President Xi Jinping held a telephone conversation with his Iranian counterpart, Ebrahim Raisi, in which the two sides expressed their joint determination to deal with economic shocks and security concerns around the world.”
“The keys to unlocking the world’s potential lie in avoiding divisive politics and addressing pressing issues such as poverty, unilateralism and social inequality,” she said.
She stated that “China’s president has said that it is very important to fight unrest in a rapidly changing world order that is shaped by social change, uncertainty and the challenges of the international system,” adding that “flagrant interference in the sovereign affairs of other countries does nothing but leads to division of the world and danger to the collective mind.
