The Palestinian Foreign Ministry condemned that “Israeli occupying forces stormed the city of Jenin and its camp, leading to intimidation and terror of Palestinian citizens, including women, children, the sick and the elderly, with collateral crimes that resulted in the death of 17-year-old Dirar al-Kafrini, as well as the occurrence of a number of other bodily injuries and the arrest of a number of other citizens.
In a statement today, the ministry confirmed: “The barbarous way in which the occupying forces have treated the Palestinians at the time of their arrest reflects the extent to which a culture of violence, hatred and racism has spread in Israeli military institutions and decision-making centers and the issuance of instructions and orders by the occupying government, and this is another a form of mistreatment of the occupying forces”.
And he called for “urgent international intervention to stop Israel’s escalation campaigns and force the Israeli entity government to stop committing violations and crimes, and to respect the international efforts made to restore the political horizon to resolve the conflict.”
