Alarm bells were sounded in southern and central Israel on Friday when a number of rockets were fired from the Gaza Strip in response to Israel’s bombardment of the Gaza Strip.
According to the “Israeli Times” newspaper, the images showed the mass flight of Israelis and their entry into the shelters after the rocket attack from Gaza, and 4 Israelis were injured during the rush to escape the rockets.

As darkness fell, Israeli officials said sirens sounded in areas in the south and center, while images showed rockets that appeared to have been shot down by air defense systems.
In Tel Aviv, Israel’s economic hub, witnesses said they heard an explosion, but there were no reports of sirens.
Al-Arabiya/Hadath reporter explained that alarm sirens were heard in the center of Israel, especially in Ashkelon, while ambulance teams declared readiness in addition to opening shelters.
According to our reporter, Israel announced that the rockets from Gaza did not cause any casualties, while Israeli estimates indicate that the tension in Gaza will continue to escalate for days.
Al Arabiya/Al Hadith reporter also reported that Iron Dome intercepted 40 out of 100 rockets fired from Gaza.
The Israeli military revealed that Friday’s airstrikes in Gaza killed 15 people and stressed that the operation targeting Islamic Jihad was not over yet.
“According to our assessment, 15 people were killed in this operation,” Israeli army spokesman Richard Hasht told the media. He stressed that the operation “is not over yet” and described it as a “preemptive attack” on one of the top leaders of the movement.
