Human Rights Watch pointed out that “the Israeli escalation spiral will continue as long as impunity persists.”

And the Israeli army announced: “We fired a shoulder-fired missile at the home of Ibrahim al-Nablusi, leader of the Al-Aqsa Martyrs Brigades of the Fatah movement in Nablus, which led to his assassination along with another person.”

And the Palestinian Ministry of Health announced: “3 young people were killed and 40 people were injured, including 4 people in critical condition, after the Israeli forces stormed the city of Nablus.” Israeli media reported that Ibrahim al-Nabulsi, leader of the Fatah Al-Aqsa Martyrs’ Brigade, was killed in Nablus.

Earlier, Palestinian media reported that “Israeli forces raided the old city of Nablus this morning and surrounded the house in an attempt to arrest what they called wanted.” That, and a ceasefire agreement between Israel and Islamic Jihad in the Gaza Strip, went into effect on Sunday evening after a round of escalation that lasted three days and left 43 Palestinians dead and dozens injured.
