A British court heard on Wednesday that a man was arrested at Queen Elizabeth’s Windsor Castle home on Christmas Day last year with a crossbow and said: “I’m here to kill the Queen.”
Jaswant Singh Chail, 20, accused of British treason, appeared at Windsor Castle wearing a headscarf and mask, the court was told. A police officer said he looked like a security guard in a movie.
The Queen was at the castle with her son and heir Prince Charles, his wife Camilla and other family members at the time of the incident, on December 25.
Chail was charged with threats to kill and possession of an offensive weapon under Section 2 of the Treason Act 1842 following an investigation by the Anti-Terrorist Police.

Child, who is from Southampton in southern England, told a hearing at Westminster Magistrates’ Court in London that he wanted revenge on the ruling establishment.
