The car of Daria Dugin, the daughter of the famous Russian philosopher Alexander Dugin, exploded and killed her under mysterious circumstances near the village of Bolshiy Vyazioma on the outskirts of Moscow, TASS news agency reported on Saturday evening.

According to the Daily Beast, investigators consider the explosion to be a “targeted and possibly intentional hit on Alexander Dugin,” who is believed to be the “driving force” of the military operation in Ukraine.
A Russian violinist named Peter Lundstrom revealed that Alexander Dugin was supposed to be in the car with his daughter but got into another car at the last minute.
While the president of the Donetsk People’s Republic, Denis Pushlin, threw what he described as “terrorists of the Ukrainian regime” into the explosion, saying in a telegram that “they were trying to liquidate Alexander Dugin, but they blew up his daughter.”
Alexander Dugin has been described as “(Vladimir) Putin’s brain” due to his alleged influence on the Russian president’s views.
His daughter, Daria, has openly supported Russian operations in Ukraine and was sanctioned by the US government in March.
