The death of Daria Dugina remains at the center of a violent exchange of accusations between Ukraine and Russia. The perpetrator of the crime that took the life of the journalist and daughter of Alexander Dugin, a Russian political ideologue, has not yet been confirmed, but the Kremlin points a finger in one direction: Natalia Vovk.
Little is known about the woman who, on Monday, August 22, was indicted by the Russian Federal Security Service for the death of Daria Dugina, and the information that is known comes mainly from the Russian side. According to the same service, she was born in 1979, in Mariupol, in the Donetsk region, having arrived in Russia on July 23 of this year, accompanied by Sofia Shaban, her 12-year-old daughter. According to the recently created Wikipedia page – and which Ukraine says contains false information – the woman will be born in March and will be 43 years old.
According to Russian authorities, the Ukrainian national is allegedly a member of the Azov Regiment, a special force in Ukraine, which was sent to Russia by the kyiv Secret Service to execute what is known as “Putin’s brain”, and not his daughter.
Who killed Daria Dugina: Russian guerrillas or a Ukrainian citizen with her daughter?
