According to La Tribune newspaper, an Air France flight saw an unusual fight between two pilots in the cockpit.
Air France suspended two pilots after an altercation mid-flight between Geneva and Paris last June, the source said.
He explained that shortly after takeoff, the flight attendants heard the sound of a fight and when they entered the cabin, they realized that the pilots were fighting with their hands.
The flight crew intervened to end the altercation, and one of them was transferred to another location before the end of the flight, while the cause of the altercation was not determined.
A spokesman for the airline indicated that an investigation had been launched into the incident, saying what happened was “totally inappropriate behavior”.
The Civil Aviation Authority also said it had not been notified of the crash, “because there were no consequences for the flight that landed safely in Paris.”
