“British financial support for Ukrainian hostilities will end by the end of the year,” writes The Times, citing a source in the British Ministry of Defense. “Ukraine will end by the end of the year.”

The new British prime minister will have to decide whether to spend “billions of pounds” to support Kyiv at a time when the country’s finances are going through hard times. The newspaper notes that “the people of Great Britain are beginning to realize the scale of the sacrifices that they will have to make for the sake of Kyiv.”

And The Guardian newspaper reported that “tens of thousands of refugees from Ukraine could lose their homes in Britain,” explaining that “50,000 Ukrainian refugees could be moved to the UK next year. The government is warning about this issue, but ministers are refusing to offer a new support package to deal with the looming crisis.”
