The Russian Foreign Ministry pointed out that “the grain export agreement is being implemented poorly, and the extension of the agreement depends on the mechanism for its implementation”, noting that “the West does not understand that setting a price ceiling for Russian energy resources will mean creating slippery ground underfoot.”

Two days ago, Russian President Vladimir Putin announced that “the bulk of Ukrainian grain was exported to the West, and not to poor countries.”

It is noteworthy that Turkey, Russia, Ukraine and the UN signed the “Document on the Initiative for the Safe Shipment of Grain and Food from Ukrainian Ports” on July 22 during a meeting in Istanbul. This agreement includes ensuring the export of grain stuck in Ukrainian Black Sea ports located in Eastern Europe to the world.
