An Iranian hacker group announced on Tuesday that it has seized the data of millions of Israelis, including Israeli Prime Minister Yair Lapid and opposition leader Benjamin Netanyahu, and deleted the website of Israel’s Kan TV channel, according to an Israeli newspaper.
Walla reported that a group calling itself “war_dark” said it had managed to access a database containing about 9.5 million files on Israeli residents, including Yair Lapid and Benjamin Netanyahu, before releasing parts of 8,300 files, including names and Hack their birth certificate. “Yediot Aharonot” newspaper also said that the group claims to have managed to destroy the website of the public broadcasting company (Canal Kan).

In recent years, hackers that Tel Aviv says are affiliated with Iran have stepped up their attacks on Israeli targets, including ministries, government institutions and insurance companies.
