A video shared by social media users on Thursday has outraged Kuwaitis, showing a man brutally attacking a woman in the street.
In the video, filmed from a remote building, a man took something out of the trunk of his car and then smashed the windshield of the car the woman was inside.
After that, the woman got out of the car in an attempt to escape, but the man chased her and knocked her to the ground and started kicking her.
The people on the street tried to intervene to get the man away from him, but he attacked them and they had to retreat.

Several hashtags circulated on social media condemning the brutal attack on the woman.
Twitter users say that the rapist was a fire officer and that he was raping his wife.
As soon as this clip and stickers were published, the Ministry of Interior of Kuwait moved and announced the arrest of the aggressor by the security authorities and declared the reason for it to be a family dispute.
And on the account of the Ministry of Interior on Twitter, it is stated that “the security authorities were able to arrest a person who appeared in a clip on some social networks and assaulted a woman.”
He added: “This incident is a family dispute”, without clarifying the relationship between the perpetrator and the attacked woman.
The Ministry of Interior of Kuwait announced that this man was introduced to the relevant police station and to investigate this incident and take the necessary legal measures, a criminal case was filed in the Jaber Al-Ahmad police station.
