On the fourth day of the agreement on the methodology to choose the place where the new Lisbon airport will be built, several officials visited the Portugal Tourism Summit and left clues about a subject that will occupy the next year of work of the technical committee that must present a final decision at the end of 2023.
The Prime Minister lowers expectations regarding more consensus on an issue in which he managed to reach an agreement to define the methodology. Costa doubts that he will go further and even says that, if there is no agreement for the political decision (after all the studies), the socialist majority will decide alone. Either way, you already have a limited acceptance rate for any solution.
Government advances with the brake to the mayors and warns the PSD: “If there is no agreement, it is life. Whoever has the majority has to use it.”
