A video captured by CCTV cameras on Monday morning shows the moment a famous bridge in Kyiv was bombed as part of a series of rocket attacks on the capital and other parts of Ukraine.
The video showed a large fireball on the famous pedestrian bridge in the Ukrainian capital after the bombing.
The explosion occurred at 8:18 local time.
No vehicles or trucks cross this bridge as it is intended for pedestrians and motorcyclists and gives its patrons a platform to see the capital, Kyiv, from above.
But the bridge was empty of pedestrians when it was bombed.
Several areas in the capital of Ukraine and other parts of the country were bombed early Monday.
At the same time, the world is waiting for the meeting of the National Security Council of Russia, which will be held later today under the chairmanship of the President of Russia, Vladimir Putin.
The meeting is being held to discuss the response to the bombing of the Kerch bridge that took place on Saturday, which Moscow accuses Kyiv of having a hand in planning.
The semi-destroyed Kerch connects the Russian mainland to Crimea, which Russia annexed in 2014.
