Hours before Sporting-Juventus kick off in the Europa League, the Italian team found out that it was suspended the punishment that penalized the team with the loss of 15 points in the championship. The Turin club already has 59 points in the Serie A standings, rising to third place, a position that gives it access to the Champions League next season.
Even so, the team can receive news on this topic. Within a month, the Federal Court of Appeals will review the case again, and it is expected that it will rule again on the sanction, which, for now, is without effect.
The loss of 15 points had been the sanction applied to Juventus for the fictitious earnings scheme detected in the analysis of 62 transfers made between 2019 and 2021. The measure known in January led to the resignation of the former president, Andrea Agnelli, from his right hand , Pavel Nedved, and the director, Maurizio Arrivabene.

The hearing on the case took place since Wednesday at the facilities of the Italian Olympic Committee.
