The amount corresponds to more than a quarter of the approved funds. Approved operations in areas such as productive business investment and adult recycling. The funds must be applied until 2027.
Portugal 2030 (PT 2030) has 838 million euros executed and 3,254 million euros approved until September, according to the latest data released.
“More than a quarter of the approved fund has been executed. Most of the approval and execution corresponds to the People 2030 program, with 2,002 million euros of the 3,254 million euros approved and 706 million euros of the total of 838 million euros executed,” reads a PT 2030 note.
The Azores 2030 program stands out, with 58 million euros executed, of the 65 million euros approved.
The PT 2030 program represents 3,631 operations approved until September. These operations focus on areas such as initial qualification, higher and advanced training, productive business investment, adult requalification, employment support, equal access to educational services, technical assistance and railway infrastructure.
From September 2024 to August 2025, 390 calls for the submission of applications are planned to be launched by the managing authorities of Portugal 2030 and FAMI (Asylum, Migration and Integration Fund).
During the period in question, it is expected that more than 4.7 billion euros of European funds will be mobilized in the different regions of the country. By program, Norte 2030 has 56 open calls, followed by Centro 2030 (55), Algarve 2030 (47) and Mar 2030 (46). Then come the Alentejo 2030 (36), Lisbon 2030 (27), Azores 2030 (17), Sustentável 2030 (16), Compete 2030 (14), People 2030 (10) and Madeira 2030 (eight) programs. Finally, PAT 2030 — Technical Assistance Program appears, with an open notice.
PT 2030 has an allocation of 22,995 million euros until 2027.
