The workshop will be streamed on the Facebook page of the Syndicate and Zoom platform and will consist of three sessions: The first session is entitled “Water Sector in Lebanon: History, Legal Framework, Policies and Current Challenges”, chaired by the former Director General of the Ministry . of Water and Electricity Bassam Jaber. The second session will be dedicated to environmental planning and will be moderated by Ghada Bilal, Associate Dean of the Graduate Institute for Regional Planning, Damascus University. As for the third session, it includes a study on groundwater resources in southern Lebanon, led by water and infrastructure experts Ali Zaidan and Abdel Rahman Abdel Rahman.
