Tirilamam with Ziad Sahab
Lebanese artist Ziad Sahab (pictured) and his band will present a “fun and unique” music show on July 21 at Al-Madina (Hamra) Metro, where he chose the name Tirilamlam. It is a virtual music show based on the idea of “stylization” of famous composers. That is, using what we know about the composer to form an idea of how this or that text might be composed.

What if, for example, Muhammad Abdel Wahab composed Muhammad Fawzi’s famous song “Mama Zamanha Jaya”? What if it consisted of Balig Hamdi or Farid al-Atrash? Ziad will sing and play the oud in the evening, accompanied by Fuad Afra (drums), Walid Nasser (percussion), Ramzi Bou Kamel (electric piano), Khalil Al Baba (violin), Sam Dabol (right) and Hadi Issa. (accordion). In a brief interview with Al-Akhbar, Ziad said that in Tirilamlam he was trying to “adopt the style of talented composers in order to present new versions of popular songs”.
