Under the patronage and in the presence of Sheikh Ali Al-Khatib (pictured), Vice-President of the Supreme Islamic Shiite Council (pictured), the “Masharek Center for Research and Modern Intellectual Studies” organized a celebration on Monday at “Imam Khomeini Cultural Center” (Airport Road) called “Ghadiriya Beirut – 2022” to announce the results of the Al Ghadeer Research Competition. The program included a statement by researchers by Abdul Amir Zahid and another statement by the Masharek Center by its President Mohamed Shukair, as well as a statement by the festival’s sponsor, Sheikh Ali Al-Khatib. The following are words in honor of Lebanese writers and researchers: George Shakur, Suleiman Cattani and Michel Kadi, as well as all participants in the competition and the activities of the cultural center, provided that Hader Nabha will perform the work of presentation.

Lebanese singer Ziad Sahab continues his summer concerts in honor of the immortal voices of that beautiful time. Tomorrow, Sunday, NOW Beirut (Ashrafieh) will be dedicated to Egyptian artist Mohamed Munir (pictured). “King” is known for his Arabic music mixed with jazz and the Nubian pentatonic scale, as well as for his unique playing style and superb design. Tonight, Ziad will sing and play his oud, accompanied by a band consisting of musicians: Ramzi Bou Kamel (keyboards), Khalil Al Baba (violin) and Camille Bou Marey (drums). “Chamomile”… From Russia to Lebanon
Today, Saturday, is the day of family, romance and loyalty. On this occasion, the “Russian House in Beirut” organizes a celebration in the heart of the capital called “Chamomile”. The event has a festive atmosphere inspired by Russian traditions that sanctify family relationships. Thus, Lebanese families-participants will be able to take pictures in native Russian clothes, and citizens of the Russian community will help young Lebanese to decorate the area reserved for the image of “Daisies”. Desserts for the Russian Bakery Fair will also be prepared with pies with different fillings, cakes and sweets. The festival also includes a Family Tree event and origami games. For children, Russia House will provide them with entertaining games and master classes prepared by its employees and Russian citizens in Lebanon. At the end, guests will bring a small souvenir – a flag with symbols of the festival.

Hanan Munir… He told the children
Writer and social worker Hanan Khaled Munir (pictured) signed a new album of children’s stories on July 21 at Zouk Mikael City Hall. The new work includes three stories in French: Histoire d’une poterie,
at Tina et l’horloge, at Le papillon et le vent. All of these stories contain a lesson and a positive message for children about life, the importance of the role of parents and the need to adjust the time to succeed.
During the event, the writer will read one of the stories from the new album and arrange some activities for the participating teens.
