The average daily production of oil and gas condensate in Russia in the first half of this month reached 1.398 million tons, an increase of 1.7% compared to the average daily production in April.
A source familiar with the official statistics on oil production in Russia said that the average daily production from May 1 to 15 of the same month reached 1,398 million tons, while the average daily daily oil production in April was 1,374 million tons.
Oil production in Russia experienced a decline in April, and in the first ten days of the said month, the decrease in production compared to the previous month of March was 6%, and at the end of April 2022 the decrease was approaching 9%. that level.
Since the spring of 2021, oil production in Russia has gradually increased, but it fell in March 2022 after the West imposed a series of sanctions under the pretext of the situation in Ukraine.
Earlier, Russia’s Finance Minister Anton Siluanov said Russia could lose up to 17 percent of oil production by 2022 due to Western sanctions.
