Abdullah bin Zayed: We are looking forward to the completion of the partnership agreement between the UAE and Turkey to double the trade between the two countries

Bin Zayed noted during a press conference with his Turkish counterpart in Istanbul that “we can also work more on strengthening our partnerships around the world and Africa is a great model for this and there are many areas such as development and commerce” . partnerships, revitalization and creation of the best conditions for Emirati and Turkish businesses and companies.”

He praised the increase in trade between the two countries to about 50 billion dirhams and said, “We have achieved an 82 percent increase in trade in just two years, and this increase has been due to the will and tireless work of the government.” Turkey and the UAE government to revive this exchange.

He noted that “Turkey is showing great interest from Emirati companies in the field of energy, as well as in the field of ports and railways”, noting that “Turkey is a very important country with great opportunities in the field of tourism, as it is one of the vital sectors and we look forward to seeking opportunities to strengthen relations in this regard.”

He also noted that “the pharmaceutical manufacturing sector will witness interest from our side and the search for investment opportunities in Turkey.”
