In a press release published on the official website, the executive of the PSD/CDS-PP/PPM coalition clarifies that the regional secretary of the Sea and Fisheries, Manuel São João, signed an ordinance that approves the Regulations of the Compensation Regime for the Operators of the Fishing and Aquaculture Sector of the Autonomous Region of the Azores for the additional energy costs derived from Russia’s military aggression against Ukraine.
The global budget allocation provided for in the decree is one million five hundred thousand euros, co-financed with European funds, one million euros being for fishing, 490 thousand euros for the processing and marketing of fishery and aquaculture products and ten thousand euros for aquaculture. “, he describes.
