Shares of EDF Nuclear Energy rose 6% after a Reuters report indicated that the French government would pay more than 8 billion euros for control of the entire company.

As a result of the session, the European Stoxx 600 index rose by 0.5%, or two points, and closed at 417 points. The British FTSE 100 also rose by 0.2% (+13 points) to 7,209 points, the German Dax rose by 0.6% (+73 points) to 12,905 thousand points, the French CAC rose by 0.8% (+48 points), scoring 6044 points.
