ASAE initiated 21 administrative infractions in non-food manufacturing units

The Economic and Food Security Authority (ASAE) opened 21 administrative infractions in an inspection operation, from the north to the south of the country, aimed at non-food processing units, namely, containers and pressure equipment.

In a statement, ASAE revealed that the operation was carried out in recent weeks with the aim of verifying simple pressure vessels (RSPS) and pressure equipment (ESP), with special emphasis on emphasis on meeting safety requirements.

In the action, 111 economic operators were inspected, and in the 21 administrative infractions the main infractions are the “availability on the market and/or putting into service of pressure equipment or assemblies that do not meet the essential requirements, the operation of equipment under pressure without valid certificate of approval of operation, the lack of meteorological control, among others”.

ASAE also determined the suspension of the activity of an economic operator for operation of the RSPS “without a document validating its operation”, in addition to having seized eight pressure equipment, a weighing instrument and two metrological control units for temperature recorders.
