E-REDES guaranteed this Tuesday that it has committed all its operational resources to thedetection and resolution of faults verified in the medium voltage network in the municipality of Vimioso, one day after the mayor’s complaint.

“E-REDES regrets the inconvenience caused, but assures that it is very committed to the definitive resolution of all the incidents that have affected the normal supply of electricity in the area“, he indicated in a response requested by the Lusa agency.
The mayor of Vimioso, Jorge Fidalgo, was outraged this Monday by the service that E-REDES is providing to the municipality, saying that there are constant power outages that are affecting various public and private services.
The company E-Redes guarantees that it has maintained a close relationship with the municipality, in order to share all the efforts that are being made to resolve the incidents identified.
For the mayor of Vimioso, E-REDES – Distribuição de Energia, SA is doing a disservice to the municipality of Vimiosowhich is affecting several sectors of activity, such as restaurants and industry and private social solidarity institutions (IPSS) and, in the supply of water to the public network, there is already an interruption in pumping.
The mayor of the district of Bragança said that he maintains “two or three weeks ago “Permanent” contact with those responsible for E-REDES, who left the guarantee that “they are trying to solve the problem.”
Jorge Fidalgo exemplifies that “the constant power outages are affecting the municipality itself in terms of water supply to the municipality, at a time when the population is increasing with the arrival of emigrants.”
Jorge Fidalgo also said that the population is “pissed off”adding that he has “no recollection of such a poor quality service provided by E-REDES to the municipality of Vimioso.”
The mayor assures that he has already expressed his dissatisfaction to the electricity distribution company on more than one occasion.
These power outages in the municipality of Vimioso, guarantees the mayor, occur both day and night.
