Peiter Zatko, former head of Twitter’s security area, made public the complaint of the “Extreme Disabilities” that you consider exist in the social network, in areas such as security and privacy. In the approximately 84 pages of this complaint, the former Twitter executive, known in the hacker community as “Mudge”, alleges that the social network it won’t do everything it promises in the security area. In this way, the security and privacy of 238 million users, a community that also includes several heads of state and government organizations, could supposedly be at risk.
Company executives, including CEO Parag Agrawal, are also the subject of this complaint, with accusations of “extensive legal violations”. Zatko accuses Agrawal of “lying” to users when he shared a tweet in which he said the company was “strongly encouraged to detect and remove as much spam as possible.” In addition, he says that the executives are also misleading the company’s investors.
