Novo Banco’s new executive board has already received the green light from regulators, in this case from the ECB. Mark Bourke definitively assumes the management of the bank, replacing António Ramalho.
The management has a mandate from 2022 to 2025 and is now made up, according to a statement to the market, by:
- Mark Bourke – Chief Executive Officer (“CEO”)
- Leigh Bartlett – Chief Financial Officer (“CFO”)
- Luís Ribeiro – Retail Commercial Director (“CCOR”)
- Andrés Baltar – Corporate Commercial Director (“CCOC”)
- Luísa Soares da Silva – Director of Legal Compliance (“CLCO”)
- Carlos Brandão – Chief Risk Officer (“CRO”)
- Rui Fontes – Chief Credit Officer (“CCO”)
Novo Banco has already chosen a name for António Ramalho’s replacement. Mark Bourke will take on these roles
Novo Banco had already announced the composition in May, which would take office in August. This Friday, August 26, it communicates the approval by the regulators in the field of conformity assessment (fit & appropriate).
