An example of the body of messages with which the taxpayer is “confronted” can be the “sending of the declaration and tax execution process for the collection of tax debts” and to which it is recommended to proceed with the tax regularization by following a ‘link’ that is provided and that, the tax authorities warn, is fraudulent.
“These messages are false and should be ignored. Its objective is to convince the recipient to download malicious software”, warns AT, emphasizing that “in no case” the taxpayer “must carry out this operation”.
