Alfredo Ortiz, president and CEO of Job Creators Network, told FNC’s Fox & Friends on Friday that crime has “proliferated” under Democratic leadership.
Ortiz said: “We have the state of Washington, you have the state of Illinois, the state of New York, where crime is increasing at a rate of 30-40% each year. You know, you have the leadership of a Democratic Governor who faithfully steers the states to the safe haven.”
“The problem is in the cities of Atlanta, for example, in Phoenix, these are states with Republican governors as you know, but this is not from the leadership of the Republican governor, because it is local leadership. We’re talking mayor level, city council, school board, you know, problems are very common with Democratic leadership. This is exactly what we’ve highlighted in the Great Opportunity Project, where we’ve really seen the contrast between Republican leadership and Democratic leadership over the last two years. You know, we have to do something about it because we’re talking about McDonald’s, which is a big company, but that’s a really big problem for our small businesses across the country. You know, McDonald’s has the ability to close some stores. It does not harm the company as a whole. But when, you know, Joe’s Pizza is down the street, the window was raided, guess what? You can’t just turn it off and move on to the next one and deal with it. This affects all of our small businesses across the country. This is the main concern. Safety is one of the key issues we highlight in this campaign.”
