Madeira’s 2025 budget discussed between December 9 and 12

The Regional Budget and the Madeira Investment Plan for 2025 will be discussed in the plenary session of the Regional Legislative Assembly between December 9 and 12, the Conference of Party Representatives decided this Monday.

The date of the plenary debate on the documents was revealed by the president of the island parliament, the centrist José Manuel Rodrigues, at the end of the meeting of the Conference of Representatives of the Party, which took place in the morning in Funchal.

The Conference of Representatives of the Parties also scheduled the monthly debate with the presence of the Regional Government (PSD), under the theme “Housing”, which will take place on October 23.

On October 29, the protest debate requested by Juntos Pelo Povo (JPP) will take place on “the complete and urgent clarification of the management of the August 2024 fires.”

The representatives of the parties with seats in the regional parliament (PS, PS, JPP, Chega, CDS-PP, IL and PAN) also decided to hold plenary sessions on the 5th, 6th, 7th, 12th, 13th, 14th, 19th, 20th , November 21, 25, 26 and 27.

At the proposal of the PSD and the CDS-PP, a solemn session will be held on November 25 in commemoration of November 25, 1975.

The next day a cycle of initiatives will begin on the occasion of the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women and the 16 Days of Activism, a proposal created by the PAN.

The last plenary sessions of this year are scheduled for December 17 and 18.
