Kyle Rittenhouse reacted to Johnny Depp’s victory in court by tweeting that he was motivated to “fight media lies”.
On June 1, 2022, The Associated Press reported that a jury awarded Depp $10 million in a libel lawsuit against Amber Heard.
Rittenhouse responded on Twitter:

Rittenhouse followed this tweet elsewhere Wrote“Stay tuned for Fox News and The Media Accountability Project, as I’ll have a new announcement about my defamation lawsuits. this Sunday”.
“The trial of Johnny Depp makes me stronger, you can and should fight media lies!” he added.
On February 22, 2022, Breitbart News reported that Rittenhouse had launched the Media Responsibility Project and its intention to use the team to control the media.
Newsbusters told Rittenhouse’s FOX News’ Tucker Carlson, “My team and I have decided to launch the Media Accountability Project as a tool to help raise funds and hold the media accountable for the lies they tell and deal with in court.”
