Actor John Cusack urged US Attorney General Merrick Garland on Twitter on Monday to resign, saying that Garland “leads us to fascism” for not bringing charges against former President Donald Trump.
“Ag Garland should retire,” Cusack wrote.

In another tweet, Cusack responded to a Twitter user: “The question is not whether Trump is ‘above the law.’ Will he and his accomplices succeed in violating the rule of law?”

Left-wing activists and celebrities fuel rumors of a January 6 hearing, while a recent Politico poll shows no one is really listening to the committee.
In October 2021, 67 percent of Republicans said Donald Trump “should run again” for president in 2024. Today, 66 percent say the same thing. So basically, the January 6 Committee was a complete failure.
Also, another recent poll shows that Americans generally believe the January 6 hearings are biased, and many believe they are designed to block Trump from running in 2024, according to the July I&I/TIPP poll.
Garland, on the other hand, could effectively face impeachment proceedings for the Justice Department’s failure to enforce a federal law that prohibits Supreme Court justices from holding elections or parades outside their homes if Republicans win a majority in the House of Representatives in the midterm elections.
