Netflix Stranger Things star Noah Schnapp: ‘My character is going to be gay and he really likes Mike’

Netflix weird stuff Star Noah Schnapp confirmed that show’s favorite character, Will, “is gay and really likes Mike,” making the hit series the latest LGBTQ+ content aimed at younger TV audiences.

“She’s been so lost without you for the past few months,” Will said, speaking openly of himself in that scene. “He’s so different from other people, and when you’re different, sometimes you seem to make mistakes. But you made him feel right – and that’s what gave him the courage to fight – so yes, Al needs you Mike: and he always will be.”

Gay development between two young characters weird stuff Popular with younger audiences, the show is the latest example of the Hollywood industry’s effort to bring LGBTQ-related content to children’s TV screens.
