Marvel owned by Disney Thor: Love and Thunder Director Taika Watiti took aim at critics who said she was “too gay” by saying “we’re all fags” to explain the way her latest superhero movie focuses on LBGTQ stories and characters.

“We’re all gay,” he insisted, “I think to some degree. I think, by nature, all people have some uniqueness.

But Waititi hasn’t been shy about how much LGBTQ content he has poured into the latest superhero blockbuster.

He was also happy that his gay friends were excited about the movie.
“I mean, I was surprised to hear what my friends were thinking of me. I said, ‘Hey guys, you’re looking at this little gay icon,’ and that was really cool,” he exclaimed.
Waititi also revealed that several other gay-themed scenes were filmed but did not make the final scene. But she kept complaining that there wasn’t enough real physical sex in the movie. She says she wants Valkyrie (Tessa Thompson) to kiss a girl.
Recently, Waititi wrote, directed and starred in an HBO Max series about gay pirates. Our flag means death. The ten-episode series introduced viewers to the show’s LGBTQ theme, but soon switched to gay romance.
The second season of the pirate series has been ordered.
