Emmy-nominated actress Sydney Sweeney said in an interview published Wednesday that even with her Hollywood salary, she could barely afford a house in Democrat-ruled Los Angeles.

“If I want to take six months off, I don’t have the income to pay for it,” Sweeney said. “I have no one to support me, no one to turn to or call for help to pay the bills.”

She added that being a promising actress in Hollywood is not what it used to be.
“They don’t pay artists the way they used to, and you can’t get the balance with publishers anymore,” he said. “Celebrities are still paid salaries, but I have to give 5 percent to my lawyer, 10 percent to my agents, and 3 percent to my business manager. I have to pay my publisher every month, which is more than my mortgage.”

Sweeney reportedly bought the house for $3 million in January, and for that price, the property is among the best in the area.
He added that the game alone does not pay the bills and that promotional deals must be made to close the gap. “I wouldn’t be able to cope with life in LA if I was just playing. “I made a deal because I had to,” he said.
Sweeney also noted that neither Hollywood nor Los Angeles is family friendly.
She said she was concerned that the financial stress and intolerance in the industry was making having children a huge risk. “I want to have a family, I want to be a young mother,” she said. But complaining about Hollywood’s stigma of actresses with children, she said, “I’m worried that if I don’t work, I won’t have money and support for children.”
