Country music star and Kentucky native Chris Stapleton was recently spotted helping with flood relief efforts that devastated the eastern part of the state.
Photos shared on social media show Stapleton helping with the rescue effort and purchasing supplies for flood victims from a Walmart store in Prestonburgh.

He was also seen helping a family move furniture from their home in Knot County, WKYT reported.
Stapleton announced over the weekend that he and his wife are donating to the Kentucky Red Cross and Appalachian Crisis Fund through the charity Outlaw State of Kind.
“Our hearts go out to eastern Kentucky and all those affected by the devastating flooding in the region.” He tweeted the Tennessee Whiskey.

Stapleton was born in Lexington but grew up in Johnson County in eastern Kentucky.
Flooding in eastern Kentucky devastated communities in the area and left thousands of families without electricity and without clean drinking water.
Parts of the state received ten and a half inches of rain in 48 hours last week.
Governor Andy Beshear (D) announced The number of people who died in the flood on Monday reached 37.
More flooding is possible as the storm moves through the eastern part of the state, hitting Tuesday night and moving into Wednesday night. by the way in the governor’s office.
A 17-year-old girl from Whitesburg, Kentucky, was forced to flee her home and put her dog in a plastic box while waiting for someone to rescue them on a roof surrounded by floodwaters.
