Actress Anne Heechey’s representative followed up on her health after she was involved in a horrific car accident, in a statement issued on behalf of her family.

In the statement, the delegate confirmed that the actress suffered a catastrophic brain injury following the car accident and that plans for an organ donation are currently underway.
“Unfortunately, due to her accident, Ann has suffered a severe brain injury from lack of oxygen and remains in a coma and critical condition,” the delegate said in the statement.
He continued: “He is not expected to survive. It was his choice long ago to donate his organs and he remains on life support to determine if any are viable.”
The statement goes on to express gratitude for the outpouring of support and care given to 53-year-old Heichi following the devastating car accident on August 5.
“We want to thank everyone for their well wishes and prayers for Anne’s recovery and to thank the dedicated staff and wonderful nurses who cared for her at the Grossman Burn Center at West Hills Hospital,” the statement added.
