Left-leaning Hollywood celebrities openly applauded the news that the FBI raided former President Donald Trump’s home in Mar-a-Lago on Monday, which they hope will lead to an arrest.
According to Breitbart News, FBI agents raided the former president’s home in Florida on Monday, obtaining classified documents he allegedly kept after he left the White House, according to various sources.
“Dark times for our country because Mar-A-Lago, my beautiful home in Palm Beach, Florida, is currently under siege, occupied by a large group of FBI agents,” Trump said in a statement. “Nothing like this has happened to the President of the United States.”

Trump’s former attorney, Alan Dershowitz, called the raid “inappropriate” and said retaining the seized documents could result in any abuse.
“Aggression should be a last resort,” Dershowitz told Newsmax. But this administration has used the justice system as a weapon against its political enemies. He arrested people, did not release them on bail, handcuffed them, used all kinds of tricks not normally done with American citizens. I hope this raid is justified. Without this evidence, the seized materials will be classified.”
