Actors Eric and Eliza Roberts encounter an intruder who appears to be targeting Eliza outside their home in California’s San Fernando Valley, before fleeing from the police into the night.
Eliza Roberts told TMZ that her daughter got home around 9pm on Friday night and got out of the car, said goodbye and entered the code at the security gate at the end of the driveway.
After opening the door, the actress walked down the long driveway to the house, but as soon as she walked in, Eric stepped outside and was confronted by an intruder standing on their property just a few steps from the front door.

“I know you,” the attacker told Eric Roberts, who probably knew him from television or the movie.
The player reportedly later asked the man why he was there, but the attacker did not give a clear answer. Eric Roberts was alarmed and asked the man to leave the area.
The intruder then made his way back into the dark driveway, but this was no guarantee that the man would leave the area. Eliza Roberts was afraid she might be hiding in the bushes outside, so they called the police.
According to TMZ, when the police arrived later, there were no signs of theft.
The Robert couple’s encounter with an intruder is just one of the latest cases of crime that has taken the Los Angeles area by storm and even affected celebrities.
Last month, pop singer Lana Del Rey received a temporary restraining order (TRO) against an alleged stalker who she said had visited her home at least twice and even stolen her car.
Also in July, a 23-year-old man was arrested after hiding outside rapper Drake’s new home in Los Angeles. The attacker told police that the 35-year-old rapper was his father.

In June, actor Casey Affleck’s girlfriend, actress Kaylee Cowen, was alone at their Los Angeles home at around 3:00 am and found an intruder staring at her in bed.
In February, a man was arrested after an attack white lotus Moreover Malibu security measures home of gunman Alexandra Daddario. The bandit approached the house where the actress was standing outside and shouted.
That same month, model and tattoo icon Kat Von D’s home in Los Angeles was robbed by an intruder who said she wanted to use the bathroom. Also in February, rapper Kodak Black was shot in the leg outside a party hosted by singer Justin Bieber in Los Angeles.
In November, broadcaster and actor Terrence Jenkins, also known as Terrence Jay, narrowly escaped an attempted armed robbery at his home when he was shot by a gunman.
