Smith said he left the apartment the day after he regained consciousness.
Ratray denied CNN’s rape allegations. “We didn’t have sex,” she said.
At the time, Smith told a friend, sister, and one of his brothers about the alleged attack. His brother told CNN that he felt guilty for leaving his brother alone on the couch that night.
The NYPD has yet to charge Ratray with the alleged rape. She has denied domestic violence charges and has a hearing in October.
