Nolte: Family of Marine Killed in Afghan Withdrawal Failed to Sue Alec Baldwin

Vigilant actor Alec Baldwin is being sued by the family of a U.S. Marine killed while evacuating Joe Biden from Afghanistan.

The deceased sailor, 20-year-old Riley McCollum, was among the 13 US military members killed in the Kabul attack. At least 20 other sailors were injured and 170 or more Afghans were killed.

Had McCollum lived another three weeks, he would have met his son, Levi Riley Rose, who was born a few weeks after his death.

Sue Baldwin is the sister of Riley, Royce and his widow, Jeanne.

After Riley’s death, her 23-year-old sister started a GoFundMe for her family. Baldwin donated $5,000. Baldwin later discovered that Royce was one of Trump’s supporters protesting the vote-rigging on January 6, and launched a public campaign to make his life miserable, at least according to the case.

Although he was not arrested and said he did not enter the Capitol, the case alleges that Baldwin accused himself of being a “rebel” using his Instagram account.

In his private message, he wrote, “I did not know that you participated in the January 6 riots when I sent dollars to your deceased brother with my deepest respects for his services to this country.”

He replied: “Protests in the country are perfectly legal and I have already spoken to the FBI. Thank you, have a good day!”

Falconist Baldwin angrily replied, “I don’t think so. Your activities led to the illegal destruction of state property, the death of a law enforcement officer, an attack on documenting the results of the presidential election.” He then added, “I’m reposting your photo. Good luck.”

So he reposted his photo to his 2.4 million followers. According to the lawsuit, Royce received “hostile, offensive, angry messages from his followers” within 20 minutes.

The gist of the case seems to be that Baldwin “falsely accused Royce of destroying government property, resulting in the death of a law enforcement officer.”

I will not comment on the merits of the claim. I am not a lawyer. But what kind of insensitive scumbag attacks a woman who has just lost her brother like that? What a cruel tyrant. And it scares him with guilt, something he would never do to Black Lives Matter protesters after his many riots.

Baldwin didn’t care if he mourned the death of a brother he clearly loved. On the contrary, he saw it as an opportunity to harass and publicly embarrass one of their own. them, Somebody others. And to do that, he trashed all the humanity he had left. She did so despite no evidence that this young woman was ever arrested or did anything other than join the peaceful side of this largely peaceful protest.
