I look at the paper and the page is practically blank. For anyone who has an opinion on anything (whatever it is), it’s usually a bad sign. One of the two: either the homework was not done, or the material was so empty that there is nothing relevant to write down. This is where I am after watching the first three episodes of “Andor”, another series belonging to the “Star Wars” universe that is already available on Disney+.
I did my homework. I watched the whole thing from start to finish with close attention and without even having a pee break. However, I yawned a few times (I might have recorded it, by chance), still fell asleep somewhere in the second episode, and when I was finally opening my eyes wide in expectation that the story was picking up pace, Disney+ threw me a nice “It won’t work, now it’s time to wait another week for a new episode.”
At the very least, let’s face it: someone was smart enough to realize that the first three episodes (the first season has 12 in total) would need to be available at the same time. Otherwise, most would give up along the way. It is only at the end of the third episode that Cassian Andor jumps onto a flying motorcycle and winds up her shoes; the credit isn’t exactly yours, but we’ll be there.
Let’s start from the beginning. What do we have here? A prequel to a “Star Wars” prequel. At this point in the championship, we have come and gone so many times in this universe that it is not this detail that will make us itch.
