Southwest Festival this Wednesday through Saturday with Da Weasel, Anitta and Richie Campbell

Da Weasel, Anitta, Bárbara Bandeira and Richie Campbell are among the bands and artists who will perform between Wednesday and Saturday at the Sudoeste festival, which returns to the Herdade da Casa Branca, in Odemira, for its 26th edition.

This year, the organization highlights that the Southwest is marked by “Two very special returns” a Herdade da Casa Branca: from the Brazilian Anitta, who “with a new album just released, promises once again to dominate the Southwest Stage with that truly contagious and overwhelming energy”, and from the Portuguese Da Weasel, who performed at the first edition of the festival, in 1997, and where they returned four more times (in 2000, 2001, 2004 and 2005).

Anitta performs on Friday. That day, Richie Campbell, Kura and Oxlade also appear on the festival’s main stage.

Da Weasel will close the main stage on Saturday, a day when Alok, Lil Yachty and Mizzy Milles will also perform on that stage.

Today the same stage will host Martin Garrix, Tems, Matuê and Bárbara Bandeira, and on Thursday Don Toliver, Charlotte de Witte, Rich the Kid and Van Zee.

There are also two other stages in the venue: the JD Stage, which “adds to the musical diversity of the festival with national names, but not only that,” and the After Stage, which “will transform the Herdade da Casa Branca into a huge dance floor, open all night until six in the morning.”

Today, JD Teezo Touchdown, Soraia Tavares and Gama WNTD will be performing on stage. Afterwards, DJ Dadda, DubVision and Shaka Lion will be performing.

On Thursday, the JD stage will host concerts by Chico da Tina, pikika and Pérola, and the After stage will host performances by Holly and LUSU and a showcase of the Red Bull Francamente rap event.

On Friday, the JD stage will host performances by Brazy, Cíntia and Young and After by Blaya, Blazy and ZenGxrl.

On the last day of the festival, Saturday, JD Kappa will perform on the Jotta stage, SleepyThePrince and Azart and Dr. Ushuu and Pedro da Linha will perform on the After Crusy stage.

On the premmises, In addition to the three stages, there is also “a lot of animation”, a restaurant area and bars.

The 26th Southwest begins today, but the camping area has been open since last Saturday and hosts DJ performances every day.

Those who have purchased a festival pass with access to the campsite will be able to use, free of charge, the buses that will run between the venue and Zambujeira do Mar, until Saturday, between 10:00 and 19:00.

This year, Sudoeste, promoted by Música no Coração, adopted a “new identity”, without the name of the sponsor that was associated with its name for almost two decades..
