President Joe Biden has objected to polls released Tuesday that showed the majority of Democrats did not want him to run for reelection in 2024.
HOWEVER New York Times The poll showed that 64 percent of Democrats want another candidate to run for president in 2024, and only 26 percent want Biden to run for reelection.
Biden was outspoken when asked about these numbers.
“They want me to run. Read the polls. Read the polls, Jack,” he answered a question from ABC News reporter Ben Gittleson about the voting results.

The president lashed out at reporters after spending time with members of Congress at a congressional picnic at the White House.
“You are the same,” he whispered. “This poll showed that 92 percent of Democrats would vote for me if I ran.”
When Gittleson reminded him that most Democrats in the poll did not want him to run, Biden refused to accept the truth.

“No,” he replied. “92 percent said they would vote for me if I did.”
The 92 percent number Biden named is the number of Democrats who would support him if he were against former President Donald Trump, not if they wanted him to run for reelection.
